Wuxi Rail Transit is the rail transit system of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, built and operated by Wuxi Metro Group Co., Ltd. Wuxi Rail Transit Line 1, which opened for trial operation on July 1, 2014, has a total length of 29.42 km and 24 stations, making Wuxi the fourth non-provincial-capital prefecture-level city—after Shenzhen, Suzhou, and Ningbo—to independently own a metro. Thailand's production base is BYD's first overseas passenger vehicle production base. The project helps drive the electrification transformation of Thailand's automotive industry and realize the vision of building a global EV manufacturing center.
