CEEG
Addresses energy storage grid connection and voltage step-up needs, improving power conversion efficiency and system stability

Wind-solar-storage transformer solutions

Renewable power generation is characterized by volatility, intermittency, and strict grid-connection requirements, and energy storage systems must play a key role in grid peak shaving, power smoothing, reactive power compensation, and adaptation to complex environments. For wind-solar-storage scenarios, CEEG provides integrated energy storage step-up converter units, dedicated energy storage transformers, and system integration solutions.

New energy power system challenges

  • Renewable generation output is shaped by weather and season, with pronounced volatility and intermittency. Once connected to the grid at scale, it strikes at the frequency and voltage stability of the grid, steadily increasing peak-shaving pressure.
  • As source-grid-load-storage coordination requirements keep rising, grid-connection standards for distributed generation grow stricter. Energy storage systems must not only smooth output on the generation side, but also shoulder peak shaving, frequency regulation, and reactive power support on the grid side.
  • Energy storage equipment is often deployed in harsh environments with high temperature, high humidity, and salt spray, while charge-discharge loads are intermittent and random. Running long-term under such complex conditions places very high demands on environmental adaptability.
  • Harmonic pollution from frequent charging and discharging accelerates equipment aging and shortens service life, while energy storage sites are often remote and difficult to maintain. Reliability, maintenance-free capability, and whole-lifecycle cost control are therefore critically important.

New energy power system solutions

We provide an integrated energy storage step-up and conversion unit series that integrates transformers, converters, and other core equipment within a container-style structure. No special lifting tools are required, transport and hoisting are convenient, and the result is an integrated turnkey project.

The unit covers 6-35kV on the high-voltage side and 0.315-0.69kV on the low-voltage side, with single-unit capacity up to 6.8MW. Oil-immersed or dry-type options can be flexibly selected, fully matching the grid-connection needs of different energy storage scenarios.

Our dedicated energy storage transformer series is customized for energy storage applications, using innovative structural design and advanced processes. While ensuring high reliability and high efficiency, it offers multiple options including oil-immersed, open-type, and epoxy resin dry-type, and suits every kind of energy storage system configuration.

At the system level, we support multiple application forms including standalone energy storage, wind-solar-storage integration, and microgrids. We enable grid peak shaving and valley filling, reactive power compensation, and renewable power smoothing, and we provide one-stop services covering engineering consulting, design, system integration, and station-level monitoring.
