Featured on CCTV! CEEG's New Rectifier Transformer Successfully Applied in Plasma Ignition System

Yantai Longyuan's plasma ignition technology has reached a new milestone: its latest-generation DLZ-HV-200 high-efficiency plasma ignition and flame stabilization system has been successfully commissioned and featured on CCTV news once again. This marks the first successful application of the latest-generation high-efficiency, lightweight plasma ignition and flame stabilization system on a 1,000 MW-class coal-fired power unit.

The new system adopts the 24-pulse dry-type rectifier transformer developed by CEEG.

The DLZ-HV-200 high-efficiency plasma ignition and flame stabilization system features lightweight equipment, high reliability and strong economics, significantly improving a boiler's ability to ignite and stabilize combustion at low loads. After installation, the transformer passed its impulse (inrush) test on the first attempt.

The dry-type rectifier transformer in this project uses a novel insulation structure and advanced production processes, delivering higher short-circuit strength and electrical strength with reliable performance. The design fully accounts for the impact of harmonics generated by rectifier elements on the transformer's windings and core: ample margins allow the windings and core to withstand the additional temperature rise caused by harmonics while keeping noise low, safeguarding the transformer's service life.

With more than 30 years focused on transformer manufacturing, CEEG draws on decades of design, manufacturing and testing experience, embedding a philosophy of "safety, reliability and environmental protection" into its power transmission and distribution products to help achieve the dual-carbon goals.
