New Product Launch | CEEG debuts new products in Shanghai, adding another milestone in energy storage segments!

On May 24, 2023, the 16th (2023) International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Conference and Exhibition (SNEC) opened grandly at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As a leading global provider of system solutions for the power and new energy sectors, CEEG arrived as promised with three industry-level innovations.The residential storage all-in-one unit, the storage transformer and the bifacial double-glass PV modules made a high-profile debut at booth E12-320, bringing a surprise to the show and the industry at large,and drawing wide industry attention for the company's formidable technology and R&D capabilities and its outstanding product design.

At exactly 10 a.m., CEEG's "Safe Transformation, Worry-Free Storage" global new product launch kicked off to a packed, buzzing house. Dr. Lu Han, General Manager of CEEG Transformer Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Liu Haifan, National Sales Director of DuPont Water & Protection's Nomex® electrical infrastructure business, attended the launch and together unveiled the storage-specific transformer. The event was hosted by Qian Xuelian, head of CEEG's marketing center.

01 Opening Speeches and Highlights

In his address, Liu Haifan, National Sales Director of DuPont Water & Protection's Nomex® electrical infrastructure business, said that DuPont and CEEG share a deep history of cooperation: CEEG led the industry in applying DuPont's highly stable and reliable Nomex aramid insulation to transformer products and has since rolled out a succession of products, contributing actively to the development of the electrical industry.

Mr. Liu added that he was honored to work with CEEG once again on the new-generation storage-specific open-type dry-type transformer. As the energy storage and PV industries continue to grow, he believes this storage transformer will find applications across every sector, contributing to China's "dual carbon" endeavor and doing its part for the green mountains and clear waters we all share.

Dr. Lu Han, General Manager of CEEG Transformer Manufacturing Co., Ltd., then delivered his address. Mr. Lu began by expressing gratitude to the leaders from all walks of life, the trusted customers who collaborate in good faith, the committed supply chain partners, and the CEEG colleagues who walk the journey alongside the company.

Then, witnessed by the media and audience on site, the two sides jointly unveiled the new product — the storage-specific open-type dry-type transformer.

At the launch, Li Ning, Chief Engineer and Senior Engineer at CEEG's Technology Center, walked the audience through the technology behind the storage-specific open-type dry-type transformer. In exchanges with customers, Mr. Li detailed the product's technical advantages and the outlook for its future market applications, demonstrating CEEG's attentiveness to customer needs and its ability to deliver customized solutions.

Key Features of the Storage-Specific Open-Type Dry-Type Transformer

The newly launched storage-specific open-type dry-type transformer uses Nomex® T410 as turn insulation, supplemented by side guards made of Nomex composite materials.The high-temperature tolerance, high mechanical strength, high electrical insulation and high stability of Nomex aramid insulation give this transformer low-carbon, eco-friendly, energy-saving and high-efficiency credentials, while CEEG's refined production craftsmanship lends it an artistic appearance and solid, dependable quality.Together with DuPont, CEEG is anchoring itself to the "dual carbon" goals to co-create a greener future and deliver a better quality of life for the whole world.
