SNEC 2023 Shanghai: CEEG Launches Three Products at Once, Exploring a New Future of Green Development!

From May 24 to 26, the 16th International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Conference & Exhibition, known as SNEC, opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Covering 270,000 square meters, this year's SNEC drew more than 3,100 exhibitors from 95 countries and regions, with daily attendance reaching 500,000 — record highs for both exhibitors and visitors in the event's history.

01 Open-Type Transformer for Energy Storage: Green Smart Manufacturing with Efficient Flame Retardance

On the morning of May 24, CEEG joined forces with DuPont to hold the launch event for its open-type dry-type transformer for energy storage applications.

The open-type dry-type transformer for energy storage uses DuPont™ Nomex® T410 as turn insulation, supplemented by side barriers made of Nomex® composite material. With its high-temperature resistance and high mechanical strength, high electrical insulation and high stability, Nomex® aramid insulation gives this transformer low-carbon, environmentally friendly, energy-saving and high-efficiency characteristics. CEEG's refined manufacturing also lends the unit an artistic appearance together with solid, reliable performance. Working hand in hand with DuPont toward the "dual carbon" goals, CEEG is helping build a greener future and a better quality of life for people around the world.

02 The "CHIEF Series" All-in-One Energy Storage System: Home Storage, Power Without Worry

Low-carbon living leads the future, and innovation changes life. The "CEEG-CHIEF series" all-in-one energy storage system is designed from the user's perspective and tailored to residential scenarios, using independent modular units to deliver design-free, one-stop service.

The CEEG-CHIEF series offers multiple operating modes, 24-hour load monitoring, and support for remote control via a mobile app, making home energy management visible and helping users optimize energy use to maximize plant returns. The product supports EPS functionality for worry-free operation during outages, switching seamlessly within 10 ms to ensure a stable power supply. Certified by authoritative bodies including CE and TUV, the system carries a 10-year battery warranty, supports up to 6,000 charge-discharge cycles at 90% depth of discharge, with safety assured. In addition, the CEEG-CHIEF series features an integrated, stackable design that is quick to install and blends architecture with modern technology and style.

03 182 Series N-Type Bifacial Double-Glass Modules: Double-Sided Generation, Higher Efficiency

CEEG's 182 series N-type bifacial double-glass modules offer clear advantages: higher output power and conversion efficiency boost energy yield while further lowering the total cost of PV systems.

The 182 series N-type bifacial double-glass modules deliver better low-irradiance performance, temperature coefficient and anti-PID behavior while reducing degradation, improving plant returns. Combining high efficiency with double-glass construction, the glass replaces the conventional backsheet to block moisture ingress and prevent snail trails while enhancing resistance to micro-cracks. The modules also offer outstanding sand and acid-alkali resistance, making them suitable for harsh environments such as deserts, coastlines and water surfaces, as well as areas with strong reflected and diffuse light from surrounding buildings, such as high-latitude and snowy regions. With more efficient bifacial generation, overall system yield can rise 10%-25%.
