Time flows on, and spring's light nurtures all things new. In this beautiful season, we welcomed the 114th International Women's Day. To give all the women of CEEG a holiday that is healthy, joyful, warm, harmonious, memorable and meaningful, CEEG prepared a series of surprise celebrations, extending warm holiday wishes to the women working hard in every role across the company, showcasing the healthy, upbeat, optimistic and enterprising spirit of CEEG's women and their love for both career and life.

PART.01

Fun and Games, Cheering Her On

Enjoying sports and making the most of spring. To fully display the women employees' positive, self-reliant spirit and encourage them to bring that drive and enthusiasm to their work, a "fun games" event was held at the Binjiang plant on March 7.

The event featured a full lineup of competitions, including "Walking Hand in Hand", "Hula-Hoop Relay", "Charades", "Shuttlecock Kicking" and "Energetic Rope Skipping". On the field, every team worked together and competed hard, each participant full of energy and spirit — cheers and whoops rose and fell in waves, laughter never stopped, and the atmosphere was relaxed and lively.

After the fierce competition, the rankings settled one by one, and once the games ended, the leaders presented awards to the winning teams and posed for photos.

Through the fun games, CEEG's women employees not only relaxed and felt the joy of the holiday, but also fully displayed their optimistic, united, energetic spirit. Going forward, they will bring even greater enthusiasm and a healthy mindset to their work, shining again and achieving even more.

Polishing Presence, Winning the Workplace with Etiquette

Without a grasp of propriety, one cannot stand. Only by learning courtesy and etiquette does one find one's footing. Etiquette is the bond of communication and the regulator of relationships, and polished business reception etiquette presents one's professional image and competence to better effect. To mark International Women's Day, the CEEG Labor Union invited Tingting, a posture and etiquette trainer from Huber, to give a special training session for employees.

Before the session began, Lian Junshan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Director of the President's Office, extended holiday greetings and wishes to all the women employees. He noted that "without propriety, a person cannot stand; without propriety, affairs cannot succeed; without propriety, a nation cannot know peace." This business etiquette and image training is an important company-organized activity and a concrete expression of the company's care for its employees, especially its women. Through learning, knowing and mastering etiquette, more women can present the company's character and spirit to fullest effect, and with polished manners and appropriate attire, add wings to business networking and negotiations — contributing "her" strength to the company's growth and winning the workplace with etiquette!

Tingting adopted a teaching approach of "theory explained + live demonstration + hands-on practice", explaining the norms of everyday business etiquette in an accessible way, starting from details such as workplace image, handshakes, exchanging business cards, reception etiquette, meeting hospitality and office courtesy.

In a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, participants absorbed a rich body of highly practical business etiquette knowledge that will offer valuable guidance in their future work. The etiquette lecture also laid the groundwork for further raising the company's "soft power" in service. Many said they would take professional etiquette seriously, keep etiquette in mind at all times, lead by example, and project the professional charm of CEEG people.

Caring for Health, Building Beauty

Caring for women's health, warming women's hearts. The Group Labor Union specially invited Director Zhang from Yuhua Maternal and Child Health Hospital to give a lecture titled "Raising the 'Protective Umbrella' of Women's Health — Caring for Women: What to Know About Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening", hosted by Lian Junshan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Director of the President's Office.

At the start of the event, Sun Xiaowu, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Labor Union, delivered opening remarks, extending holiday greetings to all the women employees and thanking them sincerely for their long-standing dedication and contributions to CEEG's development. He hoped CEEG's women would stay aligned with the company's strategy, meet uncertainty with certainty, keep the "eight certainties" in mind and hold fast to the "five beliefs", continuing with unwavering conviction and the poised bearing of the indispensable "half the sky" to apply their talents in their respective roles, stepping up and giving their all amid the opportunities of the company's digital transformation, and binding their personal growth ever more closely to the company's vision — showing new grace and achieving new success on the journey of high-quality development.

Director Zhang then used image-rich slides, vivid examples and plain language to explain cervical cancer screening and prevention and women's health care — topics of keen concern to the women in the audience — analyzing in detail the early prevention and self-examination of common conditions, and encouraging the women present to pay attention to their health and care for themselves, so they can bring healthier bodies and fuller energy to their work.

Beyond the rich program of activities, CEEG also prepared a special surprise for everyone.

Flowers for the women, warmth for half the sky. On the morning of March 8, leaders including Sun Xiaowu, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Labor Union; Zong Hongqi, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee; Gao Xiang, Assistant to the President; and Lian Junshan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Director of the President's Office, arrived early at the company gate to present beautiful flowers to the women arriving for work, along with holiday wishes.

The Labor Union's thoughtfulness brought a special delight, and the warm wishes and cheerful atmosphere touched every woman's heart — the whole company was immersed in a spirit of harmony and joy.

There were also thoughtfully prepared gifts, letting employees feel the care of the CEEG family and enjoy a holiday filled with warmth and kindness.

The event gave the women employees a chance to unwind from busy work, lifted their spirits, enriched their quality of life and cultural refinement, let them feel the warmth and care of the Labor Union family — and recharged them for highly effective work ahead.

The company hopes its women employees will continue to hold their posts and pioneer new ideas, devoting their youth, sweat, wisdom and strength on every front and in every field, building on their strengths of warmth, keen perception, inclusiveness and attentiveness — growing together with CEEG, striving side by side, and chasing their dreams forward!
