Highlights | IDTD2024 Concludes Successfully — Toward Innovation, Toward Green, Toward the Future!

As spring blossoms give way to early summer, the season of gatherings arrives. From April 14 to 17, 2024, the 5th China Paper Industry Internet and Digitalization Development Summit Forum 2024 was successfully held at the Juntai Hotel in Yangzhong, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. Under the theme "Digital Innovation Drives Paper Industry Reinvention; Green Development Embraces a Smart Future", the forum brought together fields including machinery and equipment, pulp molding and equipment, fiber raw materials, and pulping and papermaking processes. It built an enterprise-centered, market-oriented platform for communication and cooperation, inviting government officials, industry experts, renowned scholars, leading entrepreneurs, and professionals from across the sector for exchanges, sharing, and collaboration — an annual highlight for the industry.

I. Clash of Ideas, Convergence of Wisdom

The summit was not only a gathering of paper industry elites, but also a forum where ideas collided and wisdom converged.

At the forum, Qian Guijing, former Chairman of the State Council's Board of Supervisors for Key Large State-Owned Enterprises, former Vice President of the China National Light Industry Council, and former Chairman of the China Paper Association; Chen Esheng, former Standing Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of Poly Group and former Chairman of China Light Industry Group; Li Zhijian, President and Professor of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology; Liu Zheming, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Automation Industry Chain Innovation Consortium; Zhang Yin, Chairman of Nine Dragons Paper (Holdings) Limited; and Lian Junshan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CEEG, together with leaders, experts, and strategic partners from renowned technology enterprises and leading paper manufacturers, as well as representatives of outstanding global industrial internet products, intelligent equipment, digital technology companies, and the media, witnessed the paper industry's exploration and practice of "building new quality productive forces and achieving high-quality development."

Over the two-day forum, well-known experts in control engineering, electrical engineering, digitalization, and lean management gathered to deliver a series of high-caliber technical presentations. Discussions centered on digitalization, green development, new quality productive forces, and intelligent manufacturing.

II. Energy Efficiency and Green Development

CEEG made a strong appearance at this year's China Paper Industry Internet and Digitalization Development Summit Forum, supporting high-quality development of the paper industry with industry-leading products and technical solutions.

On the morning of April 16, Bai Zhongdong, senior engineer at CEEG, was invited on stage to deliver a presentation themed "Empowering Energy Efficiency and Green Development in the Paper Industry." He analyzed in depth the challenges and opportunities the energy sector faces in energy efficiency and green development, and elaborated on CEEG's innovations and practical experience in energy-saving technologies, including intelligent control systems, IoT applications, and big data analytics. These technologies not only help raise the automation level of paper production lines, but also enable precise monitoring and optimization of production processes, helping enterprises cut costs, improve efficiency, and strengthen market competitiveness.

Mr. Bai's rich content and clear viewpoints drew wide attention and lively discussion among attendees. Many industry leaders said the CEEG presentation offered fresh ideas and inspiration, helping to push the entire paper industry toward a more environmentally friendly and efficient future.

At Booth 65-66, CEEG presented a range of high-efficiency, energy-saving transformer products to visitors, attracting numerous industry colleagues to stop, view, and inquire. During the event, we invited experts to visit CEEG's digital and intelligent production base for a tour and guidance, and to discuss the future of energy-saving development in the electrical industry together. After touring the company showroom and production workshops, the experts expressed admiration for CEEG's achievements in standardized, 6S lean production management. Participants also actively shared experiences in digital transformation, achieving mutual learning and common progress.
