Collaborative innovation drives development; joined hands write new chapters.On June 27, Huang Dawei, Vice President of Southeast University, led a delegation to CEEG for an exchange visit, accompanied throughout by Cai Long, Deputy Director of the Environmental Resources and Urban-Rural Construction Committee of the Standing Committee of the Nanjing Municipal People's Congress. Dr. Lu Han, Chairman and President of CEEG, and Lian Junshan, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Director of the President's Office, extended a warm reception. Attendees included Leng Jiawei, Party Committee Secretary of Southeast University's School of Architecture; Zheng Jianyong, Party Committee Secretary of its School of Electrical Engineering; and Rui Zhenhua, Deputy Director of the University's Development Committee and Secretary-General of its Education Foundation; as well as Bai Zhongdong, Director of CEEG's Science and Technology Center; Li Ning, Executive Director of the R&D Center; Jin Chengxiang, Deputy General Manager of the Dry-Type Transformer Business Unit and Deputy Chief Engineer of the R&D Center; and Qian Xuelian, Director of the Marketing Center.

The exchange aimed to provide a valuable platform for further strengthening university-enterprise cooperation, exploring new models of talent cultivation, and achieving shared development and progress.

Industry-Academia Integration Cultivates Talent; University-Enterprise Cooperation Drives Growth

On behalf of the company, Dr. Lu Han, Chairman and President of CEEG, extended a warm welcome to the visiting leaders. He noted that Southeast University has a long history and a rigorous academic tradition and is a vital force in advancing Jiangsu's practice of Chinese-style modernization, providing strong support for the country's high-quality development. As a leading manufacturer and service provider of power transmission and distribution equipment, CEEG has entered multiple market segments with its "high-grade, high-quality" products, leveraging the strength of Chinese manufacturing to excel in technological innovation and product exports.

Over the years, CEEG and Southeast University have systematically integrated premium resources from both sides, continually polishing the "gold-lettered signboard" of their university-enterprise community. Examples include the provincial technology innovation project "Intelligent Mining Flameproof Mobile Substation", the provincial science and technology achievement transformation project "Development and Industrialization of Key Technologies for Intelligent Mining Explosion-Proof Mobile Load Centers", and the provincial enterprise engineering technology research center "Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Power Transformer Equipment" — all showcases of the innovation achieved by CEEG and Southeast University hand in hand.

Huang Dawei, Vice President of Southeast University, recognized the achievements of the two sides' cooperation and spoke highly of CEEG's technical strength and market prospects. He said Southeast University, with engineering as its focus, possesses formidable research and talent strength and looks forward to deep, multi-field cooperation with CEEG. The two sides exchanged views extensively, jointly explored ideas and directions for cooperation, and laid a solid foundation for deeper collaboration ahead.

Director Cai noted that university-enterprise cooperation is an inevitable trend in the deep integration of education and industry. Both sides should make full use of this model, proactively adapt to the new era, new situation and new requirements, and continuously deepen mutual trust, broaden cooperation areas and elevate the level of cooperation.

Exchanges Broaden Thinking; Shared Efforts Drive Improvement

First, Director Qian of the Marketing Center gave attendees a comprehensive introduction to the company's development history, development strategy, product features and talent cultivation system.

Next, Director Li of the R&D Center detailed CEEG's product R&D journey, vividly presenting the company's craftsmanship and quality.

Then Secretary Leng remarked that CEEG has mastered differentiated operations as a powerful competitive weapon and is going full speed on its "lighthouse factory" construction; Southeast University's School of Architecture will leverage its disciplinary strengths to help CEEG light up its "future intelligent manufacturing".

Secretary Zheng gave an overview of Southeast University's School of Electrical Engineering, emphasizing the need to support enterprise R&D with talent and theory, and to "employ, attract and retain" talent through multiple channels.

Director Rui introduced the responsibilities of the Development Committee and the Education Foundation, saying that Southeast University will always support CEEG's development philosophy and hoping the two sides will further strengthen exchanges and explore more possibilities for industrial development.

This exchange was a "two-way journey" between university and enterprise, and a process in which both sides jointly cultivate talent. Both parties agreed that industry-academia integration is the essential path to cultivating talent and building a healthy development ecosystem. University-enterprise cooperation can give full play to the practical strengths of enterprises, overcome the "disconnect" between education and the market, and jointly explore new models and pathways for talent cultivation.

Going forward, CEEG will continue to deepen its engagement in the electrical industry and, together with partners across sectors, build on green energy technology and smart manufacturing innovation to explore the broad prospects of multi-industry, multi-field cooperation models and drive high-quality industrial development.
