Safety for Everyone, Everyone for Safety | CEEG Holds a Health Knowledge Lecture

June is China's 23rd National Work Safety Month. In line with the campaign theme "Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response", and to safeguard employees' occupational safety and health rights, raise their safety and health literacy, strengthen safety and health awareness, and improve emergency rescue capabilities, CEEG organized a health knowledge lecture at its Nanjing operations center on June 28.

The instructor focused on CPR emergency knowledge, hands-on cardiopulmonary resuscitation practice, the Heimlich maneuver, prevention of epidemic infectious diseases, and prevention of common occupational diseases, demonstrating chest compressions and rescue breathing and stressing the importance of the "golden 4 minutes" for emergency rescue.

Learning first-aid skills is a "required course" for every employee. It effectively improves overall competence and the ability to save oneself and others in emergencies, achieving "everyone learns first aid, everyone understands first aid", so that employees can step forward at critical moments.

Addressing today's fast-paced lifestyles, the instructor shared science-based advice on healthy living. Through cause analysis and real examples, they called on everyone to control oil intake, limit salt, quit smoking and moderate alcohol, and encouraged a balanced diet, regular exercise, psychological well-being and periodic health checks to fundamentally protect one's own and one's family's health.

This training is one of CEEG's initiatives for employee safety education, designed to cultivate safety awareness and healthy habits, improve accident prevention, emergency response and self-protection capabilities, and provide a solid guarantee for employees' life and health, family happiness and the company's high-quality development.
