Celebrating July 1st, Strengthening Party Spirit | CEEG holds a Party discipline education lecture and July 1st commendation conference

The glory of July 1st mirrors our original aspiration; united effort opens a new chapter.On July 1, CEEG held a special Party discipline education lecture and "July 1st" commendation conference to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, carry forward the great founding spirit of the Party, and strengthen Party members' integrity and patriotic awareness. The event also honored outstanding Party members, Party affairs workers and grassroots Party branches who have excelled across all fronts, encouraging all Party members and cadres to unite in purpose, work with dedication, and continue to serve as strongholds and vanguards on the company's new journey — striving to achieve high-quality development and fully accomplish this year's goals and tasks.

Meng Anxiang, Director of the Party-Masses Work Office of Jiangning Development Zone, attended to provide guidance. Zong Hongqi, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, delivered the special Party discipline education lecture. Lian Junshan, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Director of the President's Office, presided over the meeting. Gao Xiang, Assistant President; leadership team members of each business unit; representatives of grassroots Party branch secretaries; and representatives of the honored advanced grassroots Party organizations, outstanding Party members and outstanding Party affairs workers also attended.

Revisiting the Party Admission Oath, Staying True to Original Aspiration and Mission

The conference opened to the stirring strains of the national anthem.On behalf of the company's Party Committee, Secretary Lian first extended festive congratulations and sincere greetings to the attending Party members, heartfelt wishes for the 103rd anniversary of the Party's founding, high respect to all Party members working on every front across the company, and warm congratulations to the honored collectives and individuals.

Comrade Dong Nan, Party Committee member and Director of Human Resources, then led the oath-taking as all Party members solemnly swore before the Party flag. The fluttering flag and ringing oath reminded every member of this sacred moment — to take the oath as a lifelong yardstick of a Communist Party member, engrave it deep in mind, keep it in heart and put it into real action, holding oneself to strict standards in work and life, staying true to the original aspiration, keeping the mission in mind, striving for excellence and devoting oneself to the enterprise!

Deepening Party Discipline Learning, Building the Foundation for High-Quality Development

At the meeting, Secretary Zong gave a step-by-step, accessible lecture under the theme of "Observing Rules and Discipline, Shouldering the Mission: Rooting, Blossoming and Fruiting the Company's Green Energy-Saving Strategy", addressing mission, responsibility and vision. Grounded in the company's actual practice and combining typical cases with explanations of the requirements of the Regulations, the session was rich in content and thorough in analysis.

He emphasized that as a grassroots enterprise Party organization, Party members and cadres must observe rules and discipline, shoulder their mission, and rely on Party discipline and regulations as the safeguard, rooting the green energy-saving strategy at every level of the company, cultivating it meticulously and ensuring sustained results; advancing with a strong outlook production and operations, technological innovation, safety and quality, smart transformation and digital upgrading, lean management, and Party building and other work to new heights; and at the same time continuing to enforce strict discipline and fostering a first-class environment for enterprise, with well-founded rewards and penalties and a clean, upright atmosphere, escorting the company's high-quality development.

Director Meng pointed out that discipline is the Party's lifeline and the cornerstone of an enterprise's steady development. CEEG is a company with dreams and aspirations, and he hopes it will continue to advance Party discipline education in depth and substance in the future, adding that the Party-Masses Work Office of Jiangning Development Zone will also build a sound cooperation platform, strengthen ties with the enterprise, and jointly write a new chapter of linked development — advancing hand in hand for mutual benefit.

He offered two suggestions for Party building in private enterprises:

1. Use the "three meetings and one lecture" system as the lever to strengthen foundational Party building.Aligned with CEEG's development strategy, this will strengthen Party members' sense of identity and exemplary conduct and enhance the organization's cohesion, combat effectiveness and capacity for growth.

2. Make the Party building brand "shine" to activate new momentum for development.Based on CEEG's management style and cultural character, a Party building brand should be scientifically distilled, strengthening ideological and political guidance and integrating Party building deeply with production and operations, thereby enhancing the enterprise's core competitiveness.

Director Gao read out the commendation decision for the "Two Outstandings and One Advanced", honoring 11 outstanding Party members, 5 outstanding Party affairs workers and 4 advanced grassroots Party branches.

The company's Party Committee leadership presented awards to the winners one by one, hoping that by honoring the advanced and setting exemplars, grassroots Party organizations and Party members will be encouraged to perform their duties with excellence and strive for distinction in their posts, writing a new chapter of CEEG's high-quality development.
