Lean Management, Craftsmanship in Manufacturing | CEEG Jurong Plant's Oil-Immersed Transformer Workshop Officially Commences Production

On November 18, the CEEG Jurong plant held a ceremony to mark the start of production at its energy-saving oil-immersed transformer workshop.More than 300 attendees were present, including Mr. Lu, founder of CEEG; Sun Xiaowu, Senior Advisor and Chairman of the Supervisory Board; Gao Xiang, Assistant to the President; Fang Xiang, Director; Zong Hongqi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Wang Qiang, Chief Engineer; team leaders from the Nanjing Operations Center; representatives of the Binjiang plant; and all employees of the Jurong plant. The ceremony was presided over by Lian Junshan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.

A New Chapter Begins

In his opening remarks, Secretary Lian noted that a fresh wind is ushering in renewal on every front. Since its preparation began, the Jurong plant has kept pace with the times and the market, carrying the company's strategic goals and shouldering the responsibility and mission of corporate development.The commissioning of the oil-immersed transformer workshop marks a solid step forward in the power equipment manufacturing sector and an important milestone in the company's growth,and is alsoa key initiative by CEEG to keep pace with the market, strengthen R&D capabilities, improve product quality, plan capacity scientifically and refine production management.

Mr. Gao, Director Wang and the two heads of the Jurong plant's oil-immersed transformer workshop jointly unveiled the plaque.

The stars reward those who journey through the night, and time never fails those who strive. During the preparation and construction of the oil-immersed transformer workshop, many outstanding employees distinguished themselves through dedication and commitment to their posts. At the ceremony, the company commended these outstanding employees, with Mr. Gao presenting awards to the recipients.

Zhu Peng, head of the oil-immersed transformer workshop, delivered a pledge speech at the meeting: commissioning is only the first step of a long journey. All workshop staff will maintain their fighting spirit and drive, turn responsibility into motivation, and truly deliver the high-quality development goal of "reaching full capacity at commissioning and profitability at full capacity."

Mr. Lu said that the commissioning of the Jurong plant's oil-immersed transformer workshop opens a new journey toward a modern factory. A modern enterprise must possessmodernized employee mindsets, modernized talent, modernized equipment, digitalized management and intelligent products. Only by achieving these five points can an enterprise be truly modern — this is both our goal and our guide.

Mr. Lu also set out four requirements for attendees:do work that creates value; be people of integrity; address problems of ineffective, weak and incomplete implementation; and address the "unengaged" and the "not up to the task".

A single thread cannot make a cord, and a single tree cannot make a forest. Finally, Mr. Lu called on everyone to press forward on a journey that is far from smooth but within reach of every determined step: with firmer conviction, higher fighting spirit and a more pragmatic work style, let us run with the times and strive together for our ideals!

The cake symbolizes sweetness and joy. Mr. Lu led the company's leaders in cutting the cake, and Secretary Lian led the cheering of "United in purpose, a century of CEEG". The ceremony concluded to resounding, rousing chants!

However far the road, determined steps will get us there; however great the task, perseverance will see it done. Developing new-quality productive forces is a challenging endeavor, and we believe that under the guidance of the company's overall strategic plan and through the joint efforts of the Jurong plant and all CEEG employees, the oil-immersed transformer workshop will embark on a magnificent and brilliant new journey!
