Leaders of the Anhui Wumeng Expressway and Anhui Transportation Engineering Group Visit CEEG

Leaders of Anhui Wumeng Expressway Development Co., Ltd. and a technical team from Anhui Jiaokong Engineering Group Co., Ltd. visited CEEG for an inspection tour, and the two sides held in-depth exchanges on expressway power supply and distribution systems. CEEG technical engineer Engineer Zhu accompanied the guests throughout, highlighting the technical advantages of amorphous alloy dry-type transformers in long-cycle operation scenarios

Focusing on Long-Term Energy Saving

At the meeting, Engineer Zhu pointed out through data analysis: "The no-load loss of amorphous alloy dry-type transformers is 60% lower than that of traditional silicon-steel transformers. In expressway scenarios with 24-hour uninterrupted power supply, no-load time accounts for 40%-60%, and adopting amorphous technology can reduce the project's whole-life-cycle comprehensive cost by 40%."

Engineer Zhu made a calculation based on the annual electricity consumption of amorphous alloy transformers versus traditional silicon-steel transformers: compared with a conventional transformer, a 2500kVA amorphous alloy unit can save 15,330 kWh per year.

Deepening Technical Verification

The leaders of Anhui Wumeng Expressway and Jiaokong Engineering Group focused their questions on the patent layout and industrial application of amorphous alloy materials.

Engineer Zhu presented CEEG's semi-encapsulated three-phase three-limb patent certificate (Patent Nos.: 200820215814.7, 200820215858.X) and accompanied the guests on a tour of the core production line. Standardized operations across the whole process, from amorphous strip shearing to epoxy resin vacuum casting, provide production capacity assurance for large-scale project application.

Planning Green Infrastructure Together

It is reported that, as a key project of Anhui Province's 14th Five-Year Plan, the Wumeng Expressway plans to build eight 35kV substations along its full line. This visit has laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides. CEEG will uphold the philosophy of "innovation-driven, quality first" and provide quality products and services for the Wumeng Expressway project.

Both sides said they will take this visit as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and collaboration, jointly promote the construction of green transportation infrastructure, and contribute to achieving the "dual carbon" goals.
