Rules as the Mirror, Promises in Action | CEEG Party Committee Holds Special Study Session

On May 20, the CEEG Party Committee held a special study session to collectively study the "eight-point central regulations", the Private Economy Promotion Law and the Regulations on Ensuring Payment to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, aiming to enhance Party members' understanding and application of relevant policies and regulations and ensure the company's rapid yet steady development on the track of compliant operation. The session was presided over by Lian Junshan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.

In-Depth Interpretation of the "Eight-Point Central Regulations"

First, Secretary Lian explained the specific content of the "eight-point regulations" to everyone. He noted that the regulations cover improving research and investigation, streamlining meetings and events, simplifying documents and briefings, regulating visits abroad, improving security work, improving news reporting, tightening the publication of writings, and practicing thrift and economy — eight aspects.

Secretary Lian then, drawing on real cases, gave an in-depth interpretation of the essence of the "eight-point regulations" from the aspects of meeting organization, document formulation, leadership visits abroad, news reporting, publication of writings and practicing thrift. He stressed the need to persistently implement the spirit of the eight-point central regulations, further strengthen and improve work conduct, vigorously promote close ties with the people, uphold lifelong learning, continuously enhance the Party spirit and ideological realm of Party members and cadres, and improve work efficiency and effectiveness.

In-Depth Study of the Private Economy Promotion Law

Party Committee member Zhou Jiayun led all staff in a dedicated study of the Private Economy Promotion Law, fully interpreting the law's legislative purpose, social value and core provisions.The Private Economy Promotion Law came into force today. It is China's first foundational law dedicated to the development of the private economy and an important law for building a high-level socialist market economy system, holding milestone significance in the development of China's private economy.

Standardizing Conduct to Foster a Favorable Business Environment

Party Committee member Li Xiang led all staff in studying the Regulations on Ensuring Payment to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.After interpreting the main content and revision highlights of the regulations, she emphasized the need to, in light of the company's actual situation, further standardize contract conclusion and funding guarantees and strengthen governance at the source of account payments; further standardize payment behavior, prevent overdue payments, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises, and foster a favorable business environment.

In his concluding remarks, Secretary Lian said that all Party members and cadres must keep learning so that it sinks in, internalize it in the heart and externalize it in action; integrate learning, thinking and application, and unite knowledge, conviction and practice; maintain top-down coordination and jointly answer the same questions; and make sustained efforts with "stability" as the bottom line.

Finally, Secretary Lian put forward three expectations:

1. He expects Party members to take the initiative, think deeply about the integration points between policies and regulations and business work, and actively explore implementation paths suited to each department's characteristics, forming a good situation of full participation and coordinated advancement;

2. He expects management to fully play a leading role, integrate regulatory study into daily management, lead teams to deeply grasp the spirit of the regulations and apply them flexibly in practice;

3. He expects all departments to actively conduct cross-departmental exchanges with an open and inclusive attitude, share experience and learn from one another, and jointly promote the efficient transformation of regulations from theoretical study to practical results.

With strong winds and full sails, ambitions are set; now is the time to forge ahead. The CEEG Party Committee will take the "eight-point central regulations" as its entry point and mobilization order, the Private Economy Promotion Law as its action program, and the Regulations on Ensuring Payment to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises as its action lever, playing a "combination punch" and polishing the "golden brand" to write a magnificent chapter of the company's vigorous development!
