Awakening inner drive, sparking enthusiasm, grit, and boldness

Recently, CEEG continued its series of training sessions under the theme "Mental Strength Awakening: Sparking Drive, Grit and Pioneering Spirit". Lian Junshan, Deputy Secretary of the CEEG Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, served as the trainer. The sessions aim to inject strong spiritual momentum into enterprise development and to unleash both the team's fighting capacity and each individual's inner potential.

Drawing on the Classics to Set the Tone

Opening the training, Secretary Lian drew on the classics, taking the line from the Book of Documents that "great deeds stem from ambition, and broad accomplishments from diligence", to show that "mental strength" is the core force driving both personal growth and enterprise development. He put it vividly: "Drive determines the starting point, grit determines how long you last, and pioneering spirit determines how high you go — while mental strength is the light that illuminates the whole journey." Only when the four work in concert can one go far and steadily on the road of career.

In a rapidly changing market, breaking through with the "three drives" has become an inevitable choice for both companies and individuals. The training further unpacked their meaning: drive is the action engine of proactive work; grit is the spiritual backbone for breaking through adversity; and pioneering spirit is the wellspring of innovation and breakthrough. For individuals, the "three drives" are an accelerator of career development; for teams, the "three drives" unlock potential. Activating the "three drives" means breaking rules, pushing beyond limits and turning the impossible into the possible.

Putting the "Three Drives" to Work and Igniting Passion

To ensure the "three drives" take effective hold, the training set out three practical paths: ignite drive with clear goals, breaking the company's strategy down into quantifiable, executable personal goals; strengthen grit with a positive mindset, encouraging employees to motivate themselves with positive language and building "positive energy sharing sessions" to foster an uplifting team atmosphere; and spark pioneering spirit through teamwork, drawing on the Su Chao network support team model to form cross-departmental project groups and technical task forces, promoting the collision of ideas and pooling innovative strength.

At the close of the training, all employees deepened their understanding of the theme by watching four selected videos and studying in-depth articles. Secretary Lian concluded by stressing that the awakening of mental strength is no empty talk: it requires every employee to forge responsibility in concrete tasks, temper courage in the face of challenges, and spark wisdom in the exploration of innovation.

Centered on the company's strategy and the guiding spirit of Director Lu's remarks, the training pointed the way forward for CEEG employees, inspiring them to turn the "drive" into momentum for breaking deadlocks, the "grit" into a shield for breaking through, and the "pioneering spirit" into a path of development, and to use formidable mental strength to keep the enterprise moving steadily forward through the tides of the times.

Guided by "mental strength awakening, three drives in full flight", all CEEG employees are expected to gather mighty strength, surmount the many hurdles on the development journey with high spirits, write a brilliant new chapter for the enterprise and every individual, and march boldly toward higher goals!
