Kickoff Meeting for the CEEG–Alibaba Group Digital Operations Project Successfully Held

In the height of summer, everything is thriving. Recently, CEEG and Alibaba Group held the kick-off meeting for their digital operations project. Teams from both sides gathered to chart a blueprint for strategic digital cooperation and open a new chapter of intelligent transformation!

Attendees included Lian Junshan, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of CEEG; Yu Miao, CFO; Guo Xilong, head of the Binjiang factory; Wang Qi, head of the Jurong factory; and Jia Feng, head of the Information Department; as well as Hong Junyuan, General Manager of Lingyang's East China business at Alibaba Group; Yan Jiacheng, head of the Jiangsu-Anhui region of the East region; and Wang Chao, Delivery Director of the Customer Success Department. The meeting was hosted by Li Xiang, Director of CEEG's Operations Center.

01 Charting the Blueprint for a Shared Digital Future

Director Jia opened with a presentation on "Building a New Data-Driven Operations System", analyzing the project's pain points in detail from business and management perspectives, with the aim of resolving information asymmetry through data transparency and achieving cost reduction and efficiency gains. He emphasized that this digital transformation is not only a technology upgrade but a restructuring of the operations model, and expressed the hope that with the deep empowerment of Alibaba's Lingyang team, the project will be infused with leading technology and mature practical wisdom to build a solid, enduring engine!

Deng Shan, senior technical architecture consultant from Alibaba Lingyang's Customer Success Department, then explained the project background, planning, division of responsibilities and implementation path. She said the data platform construction will be based on the theme design of full-chain order data analysis, with meticulous deployment across multiple stages to turn the strategic vision into reality and help achieve greater efficiency, lower costs, better experience and smarter decision-making.

02 Kindred Spirits Across Mountains and Seas, Climbing the Digital Summit Together

In his address, Director Hong stressed that Alibaba will bring its deep technical expertise and ecosystem advantages to work closely with CEEG, exploring a new paradigm of digital transformation for the power industry through horizontal alignment and full participation. Director Hong especially proposed the action framework of "three unifications and two continuities", namely "unified goals, unified organization and unified standards; continuous operation and continuous improvement".

Secretary Lian delivered the concluding speech, setting the project's direction with strategic insight and emphasizing the core requirements of "deepening collaboration and ensuring implementation". Secretary Lian noted that this meeting was not only a project kick-off but also a key opportunity to align thinking and build consensus. This cooperation is a foundation-laying ceremony for an intelligent future — all forces must be united to live up to the trust placed in us!

To advance the digital operations project in a solid and efficient manner, Secretary Lian solemnly put forward five requirements: 1. Ride the momentum, embrace change, and empower the future with digital technology;

2. Face pain points squarely, break through with digital tools, and remove long-standing problems;

3. Study in depth, diagnose carefully, and draw the digital blueprint together;

4. Unite as one, collaborate fully, and achieve efficiency together;

5. Chart the future, set sail with digital intelligence, and win the digital future together.

03 Cutting the Cake Together, Awaiting Abundant Fruits

At the end of the meeting, Secretary Lian and Director Hong cut a cake together symbolizing the start of the cooperation. This sweet ceremony signified that the two sides will cultivate the digital soil together and look forward to abundant fruits!
